Strolling Around the City of Love in October
This fall, I went to join my parents in Paris for the weekend for a sort of international reunion (also, to my surprise, to go to see the Rolling Stones live). We met up in some of my favorite neighborhoods from Le Marais to Saint Germain. The main priorities for this reunion were delicious food, live music, arts and city life in Paris.
Sometimes when I go to a city, whether it is familiar or completely new to me, my favorite way to see and experience it is to get lost, lead by intuition and beauty. It is moments like this when I have chance encounters with lovely strangers, random acts of kindness, insightful zeitgeist observations, authentic hole in the wall culinary experiences, intriguing galleries and fairytale street meandering.
If you find yourself in Paris, take a stroll around with no particular itinerary and discover the magic along the way.
